Canton Community Foundation

CCF/Penelope Hope Klei Scholarship: 1 $500 scholarship
The Penelope Hope Klei Scholarship is open to all seniors who are graduating from the Plymouth/Canton Community School District with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and plans to attend a Christian college or university full time with any major. Applicants must also submit documentation of at least 50 hours of community service.

Canton Police Benevolence Scholarship: 1 $1000 scholarship
This scholarship is open to all seniors currently participating in a recognized Police Explorer program at a police department within Wayne County. They must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a letter of recommendation from their agency advisor.

Canton Soccer Club Scholarship: 4 $1,500 scholarships
This scholarship is open to any resident of the State of Michigan who has played with the Canton Soccer Club for the past three years or a minimum of 5 years, is a member in good standing, and is a graduating senior. They must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and a letter of recommendation from a teacher or coach.  An essay about "how you feel the Canton Soccer Club has helped you as an individual" is required.

Jack Demmer Ford Scholarship: 1 $1000 scholarship
This scholarship is open to all seniors graduating from the Plymouth/Canton Community School District or those live or lived in the greater Canton area and are currently attending any college or university with any major. This scholarship requires that the applicant has maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Denski Family Scholarship: 1 $1000 scholarship
This scholarship is open to all senior cheerleaders graduating from the Plymouth/Canton Community School District who are planning to attend any college or university as a full-time student. Applicants must have a minimum of 40 hours of documented community service. Applicants must also provide a letter of recommendation from their cheerleading coach.

Elizabeth Durack Memorial Scholarship: 2 $500 scholarships
This scholarship is available to all “non-traditional” students who plan to attend any college or university in Michigan in the fall. A non-traditional student is generally someone beginning college later in life or returning to college following an extended absence.

Eve Grigg Memorial Scholarship 1 $500 scholarship
This scholarship is open to one or more eligible students who are current or former graduates of Bad Axe High School and have a GPA of at least 3.25 and a minimum of 20 hours of documented community service at the time of graduation.

Heather Nicole Hill Memorial Scholarship: 1 $1000 scholarship
This scholarship is open to all graduating seniors enrolled at the Starkweather Alternative High School who are planning to attend Schoolcraft College as a full- or part-time student with any major, but who have an appreciation for art. Two pieces of artwork must be digitally submitted.

Linda Hutchinson Memorial Scholarship: 1 $500 scholarship
This scholarship is available to all seniors graduating from Model High School or from the Bloomfield Hills School District.

Livonia Firefighters Local 1164 Scholarship: 2 $1000 scholarships
These scholarships are available to any Livonia resident who is a graduating high school senior from any high school.  Requirements include a minimum GPA of 3.5, two letters of recommendation (one teacher/counselor; one personal reference), and a 500-word essary describing how they have made a difference in their school or community.  Students may attend any college, university or trade school and choose any course of study.

Jason Russell Maurer Memorial Scholarships
These scholarships are available to 2016 and 2017 graduating high school seniors who attend Woodside Bible Church - Troy Campus.  This scholarship requires that the applicant attend Woodside regularly and have documented community service.  Scholarships may be awarded to those attending any college, university or trade school.  THESE SCHOLARSHIPS HAVE A LATE SPRING/EARLY SUMMER APPLICATION DATE.  

Dustin Piepsney Memorial Scholarship: 1 $600 scholarship
This scholarship is available to all student athletes who were involved in wrestling, football, and/or baseball and are graduating from the Plymouth/Canton Community School District. Applicants may attend any college or university as a full-time student in the fall. Applicants must have a letter of recommendation from their coach.

Marvin Schulz Memorial Scholarship: 1 $300 scholarship
This scholarship is available to all students graduating from the Plymouth/Canton Community School District who plan to attend either the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor or University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Keith Patrick Torp Memorial Scholarship: 2 $500 scholarships
The Keith Patrick Torp Memorial Scholarships are open to two different groups of students:  (1) Any Plymouth/Canton Community School District graduating senior who has participated in pom pon attending any college or university as a full-time student.  A letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor is required.  (2)  The second scholarship is offered to a Plymouth/Canton Community School District graduating senior planning to attend Washtenaw Community College or current WCC students who are enrolled as full-time students and who are enrolled in the automotive and motorcycle technology program.  A letter of recommendation from a teacher of counselor is required.

Fred Thomann Memorial Scholarship: 1 $500 scholarship
This scholarship is available to all student athletes graduating from the Plymouth/Canton Community School District. Applicants must be majoring in Education at any college or university in the fall. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. A letter of recommendation is required from both a coach and a teacher (the two may not be the same).

Marjorie & Donald Treadwell Scholarship: 1 $2500 scholarship
This scholarship is available to all seniors graduating from the Grosse Ile Public School District.

Meredith L. Whalen Memorial Scholarship: 1 $1500 scholarship
This scholarship is available to all female students graduating from the Plymouth/Canton Community School District who plan to attend any college or university an major in Business.
